Multi project management

What are your priorities today, tomorrow or the day after?
Can we start this project today or need to wait till next month?

Shared resources

  • Quickly identify key resources
  • Quickly identify key tasks
  • Set clear priorities and maintain focus

Many organizations are facing the challenge of managing multiple projects using a shared pool of resources. Lynx presents the actual resource load information right on your desktop and this automatically draws attention to where it matters most; resources with a high workload also known as key resources

Once such resources are identified you can organize work around it. It’s important that everyone understands that work performed by these resources should progress according to plan. This is because any delay on a key resource can never be gained and this time will be lost forever.

Schedule your project releases

  • Keep your projects flowing
  • Prevent starvation by releasing too much work at once

With Lynx, projects are scheduled first and then released. Scheduled means that the project is still in the desing fase, maybe your requirements are not yet finite, tasks need to be added or durations need to be set. When the preparation phase is complete and you have a go for your project how do you determine the optimal date and time to start working?

Lynx' includes a release wizard which helps you picking the optimal date and time for releasing your project, taking into account the requested delivery date, resource allocations from earlier projects and constraints set within the project.
